For those wondering about the Police presence between St. Charles and Warren County; there was an active shooter threat made in Wright City at the High School and hundreds of area officers were en route to the scene. All officers have been disregarded and there is no threat.

Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Hermann Missouri Police Department Det. Sgt. Mason Griffith who was killed in the line of duty last night. He will never be forgotten.

Overnight, Fire, EMS and PD responded to a 2nd residential structure fire on Tall Cedar Ct in New Melle where two victims were reportedly trapped. Crews did find the two victims deceased after searching.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the victims.
