Today my daughter had an accident. No reason to be upset. The car can be fixed, so as long as they are safe it’s ok. Because they can never be replaced.

We will continue to honor your legacy. I hear everyone talking about how sweet, kind and loving you were. All very true. I also know you were a fierce competitor and that you would stand up for yourself and your friends at the drop of a hat. Rest Easy @DawsonBarnes_ #DB16

It is through tears that I ask for prayers for the Barnes Family tonight. Dawson Barnes, @CHSSpartans athlete and standout player for the Texas Pirates was taken from us tragically in a car accident this afternoon. Please lift the Barnes family in your prayers. ❤️😢
