Over the last year and a half, SBA has heard repeatedly that CMMC compliance is the single most costly and burdensome regulation that America’s small manufacturers face. Today, following engagement with SBA, @DeptofWar has announced that they are suspending CMMC Phase II requirements – and reviewing the regulations to chart a path forward that protects cybersecurity without driving small businesses out of the defense industrial base. This Administration will safeguard federal data. We will not let red tape choke off the innovation and supply chains our warfighters depend on. Thank you @SecWar and @SBA_Kelly!
