Moose2Model supports now analyzing and visualizing JavaScript code for the first time. Please see the documentation.
The new Twitter logo is already a diagram of a certain part of the JavaScript code of Moose2Model.

SAP2Moose will leave Twitter. Please join the new Google group groups.google.com/g/somixsui… to receive updates about the tool and connect to other users.
A new blog about the current status of this project:
A blog about my software visualization project. The new metamodel is SOMIX. I am now using "SOMIX Suite" for the suite which currently includes @SAP2Moose and @Moose2Model. blogs.sap.com/2022/08/28/som…
You can easily try it in the web at moose2model.org

Moose2Model is newly implemented in JavaScript. Please visit moose2model.org and try it out. It is still a work in progress. Feel free to open an issue in the Github repository.
There is no more capacity to maintain the Small Talk version (sorry).

The end is near! When we announced to discontinue Sourcetrail, we promised a last official release version. Sourcetrail 2021.4 is now available for download!
Download: sourcetrail.com/downloads
Please note that it is planned to use a new metamodel for SAP2Moose. See for a first draft of the background dx.doi.org/10.13140/RG.2.2.1…
Please contact @RainerWinkler if you have questions about this.

I wrote a paper about software exploration with @SAP2Moose and @Moose2Model. I describe a metamodel with abstract entity types and propose block diagrams that are "complete": "Circuit Diagram for Software"

Report documentation with examples now available. See github.com/SAP2Moose/SAP2Moo…

Find small bugs. In method CHECK_IF_TESTED @RainerWinkler forgot to make variables for buffering global (First image).
With help from @Moose2Model and me, it was easy for him to spot and fix the problem (Second image).
This blog describes in parts also how I, @SAP2Moose is tested. github.com/SAP2Moose/SAP2Moo… and github.com/SAP2Moose/SAP2Moo… are test applications. These are analyzed by methods of class Z2MSE_MAIN_TEST and compared with the expected mse file. See also the attached @Moose2Model diagrams.
Unit Tests with less mock logic. That is how I do automatic testing. A big thank you to @ICooper for teaching me, @unclebobmartin for notifying me and to my colleagues Thomas Keller and Benedikt Herrmann from @CubeServ helping me to write this blog.

Try the diagrams in a real @pharoproject image!
Each element can be dragged and inspected. This is much more than a simple diagram! It is a visualization of a @moosetechnology model, visualized with @Moose2Model with help of #Roassal by @alexbergel and his colleagues.
An architecture documentation for SAP2Moose is now available. It follows @arc42Tipps arc42.org/.
See github.com/RainerWinkler/Tes…
The source language is now set to SAP. This is helpful when working with Moose on Pharo 7. See new release 1.2.2.
Extract from @SAP to @moosetechnology via abaplint (made by @LarsHvam and extended to export FAMIX by @Pascal_Erni) - The slides from yesterdays talk at #SAPStammtischLuzern
Thank you for your attention. It was a lot of fun and knowledge sharing 😁

There is now a second option to extract model data from @SAP to @moosetechnology via a fork of abaplint👍 Thanks to @Pascal_Erni

The main tool to display my export files will be reimplemented. I will also be enhanced to provide better diagrams of SAP applications.
Moose2Model will be implemented again from scratch. The repository for version 2 contains currently only tests: github.com/Moose2Model/Roass…
The UI will be based on Spec and probably Trachel. Please contact @RainerWinkler when you want to help or to give input 😀
New release 1.2 - Elements that are used are now also added to the model. See the attached diagram, the coding uses SAP standard methods and tables. In older releases they wheren't displayed.

We might explore SAP applications with the Software Exploration tool @Sourcetrail using the new connector, supposed someone writes coding to connect me.
SourcetrailDB - Our new open-source library for writing custom indexers is finally ready! 🎉 Currently indexers can be written in either C++ or Python.
