My MP salary donation this month is going to Yarmouth Greyhound Homefinders - helping dogs from the racing find a proper home once their competitive running days are over.
Caring for the dogs, and then linking them up with a loving family.
A great cause - I'm chuffed to help.
Just told my pal Mr Pierrepont don’t get trying to get me into anymore dogs I am just going for a swim !!

What a run from Salacres Mo at Dundalk. He walked out of the traps and met trouble in running, then came steaming home to catch Buddy Bruno and win the S0 over 400 yards by a neck in 21.33.
He's by Pestana out of Thisonesforyou, and his granddam is Unlock Unlock. That's a second winner of the night for the Grangeview Ten line.

After a thoughtful week helping the headcase charity in the Pyrenees I have decided to go back to my home track at @nottingham_dogs I had already given notice to @BetwayTowcester before my break and I wish them all the best I enjoyed myself & probably had my most enjoyable times in licensed greyhound racing with Kevin Boothby he had faults like we all do but Towcester surface under his care was A1 and I enjoyed his company, Mike has spent a small fortune on the place so I wish him all the best they have great people in the paddock and racing office plus two good lads in Billy and Thomas. I was undecided on giving up or going forward but a lovely litter I have here out of pippy was the deciding factor. Greyhound racing has to decide if it wants a future tough decisions need to be made no more ticking boxes for show we either mean what we say or it won’t be a personal choice if I carry on it will be taken out of my hands !!!
I’ve got a cost saving idea for anyone who’s struggling to pay for a family holiday this year get in ya car drive to green lane road Leicester there’s no way ya family will believe there in the uk still !!!
I’ve been away a week I always like this week I do for @HeadcaseCancerT personally I find it rewarding but gives me chance to have my own thinking space. There are always very professional business people here who I can confide in and air my issues the way the sport of dog racing is run is shocking no other sport or industry would think they could take advantage of individuals like this game does it is obviously on a one way trajectory in its current direction I now don’t believe we have what it will take to change that path it’s been a sad reality check this week !
Team brief before the week begins with the world famous triathlon’ iron man Des McManus leading the safety talk @Pedalthepyrenees
Show jumping at burghley back in probably 1986/87 he was a gorgeous lad Hints Follyfoot lived out his life at the kennels when we moved here to ruddington
I now use a proper brush to groom the greyhounds people say how did you get into the greyhounds I am afraid when there in your life at the start there always in it

Lviv, 1941.
A young Jewish woman sits on the pavement, stripped naked, surrounded by a hostile crowd.
She tries to cover herself with her hands; her clothes lie discarded beside her. People stand and watch. One person reaches down toward her head as she looks directly into the lens.
Look at her face.
There is fear, shock, and profound humiliation. But beneath the cruelty surrounding her, there is something immutable:
her fundamental humanity.
She had a name.
A family.
A home.
People who loved her.
A future she was never allowed to claim.
The image was captured on 8mm film by German personnel. Later discovered by U.S. forces in an SS barracks in Augsburg, the footage is now preserved in Holocaust archives—a permanent record of an atrocity that was meant to be forgotten.
Before the Holocaust, more than 200,000 Jews called Lviv home. Under Nazi occupation, that community was systematically persecuted, deported, and murdered. Only a fraction survived.
During the 1941 pogroms, Jewish men, women, and children were targeted relentlessly, with women subjected to targeted, public degradation.
This photograph captures more than physical violence. It captures the mechanics of dehumanization—the deliberate, witnessed destruction of a human being's dignity.
We may never learn this woman’s name.
We may never know her final moments.
But by looking at her face, we refuse the ultimate aim of her tormentors: to erase her from memory.
We remember that she was someone.

Multiculturalism could work, but not if one of the cultures plans to dominate all the others
And if it is also actively hostile to the parent culture
