Sheffield Wednesday Football Club can confirm that an agreement was reached last night for Dave Challinor to become the club's new First-Team Manager. The 51-year-old will be in attendance at today's fixture against Blackpool at Hillsborough. The club looks forward to formally introducing Dave to supporters on Monday, when further details of the appointment will be announced.

#swfc That was embarrassing to watch. The team needs to opplogise to them fans who travelled. 2nd best allover the pitch against a team who haven't won in 6. Tonight is the first time they haven't conceded this season and we haven't had a shot on target. Itegbayo hasn't a clue.

Found out this afternoon an old schoolfriend and fellow High Greener was murdered on Friday, and My Uncle has passed away today. To say I've had better days in an understatement. My thoughts go out to everyone suffering bereavement.
