I speak to so many worried Conservatives who believe looking after our home for future generations is the point of conservatism, whilst Kemi Badenoch follows Trump and Farage to ruin.

Last week @WeAreOpenreach engineer putting our @EE internet in "yes, were sure we can put the fiber in, we never cut the copper before we make sure fiber is working"... They cut the copper and now say they can't fit the fiber. Should have gone @CommunityFibre

Let's talk about the whole "a dumb steamship popped Cthulhu" thing.
First off, the year is 1927. At that time the most powerful creation of mankind was steamships. So Lovecraft pitted a steamship vs. big C, and lo and behold, C reformed after being hit in a matter of minutes.
The lesson isn't "I can defeat Cthulhu with a steamship". The lesson is "the most powerful machine we can build CANNOT defeat Cthulhu." I have no doubt that if Lovecraft had written the story 20 years later, a nuclear bomb would have failed to destroy Cthulhu instead.
