Wall Street’s embrace of blockchain technology is moving beyond merely creating digital versions of stocks, bonds and money-market funds toward a bigger goal: changing how those assets move through the financial system bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

NEW: $7.8T asset manager @Fidelity says @Solana’s “broader trajectory remains positive” in a new research report, citing greater software diversity, infrastructure investment, and growing adoption in payments and tokenized assets.
The report compares Solana’s roughly 13-second settlement with 1–2+ days for card payments. Alpenglow targets around 150ms finality, potentially bringing “near-instant feedback and finality” to a network operating 24/7.
Starlink 💫 ❤️
Starlink became a lifeline when a sailor suffered a stroke with no mobile signal. ♥️
Elliot Russo was aboard his yacht in a remote Indonesian lagoon, when he lost movement on one side and struggled to speak.
There was no mobile coverage. Their Starlink connection let them contact an emergency medical team, share their location and reach people who helped arrange a rescue. A boat arrived with medics and took Elliot to hospital. He survived and later recovered.
This is why Starlink matters. It helps save lives. This life-saving technology should be available in every part of the world.

AI agents can now book the hotel and order the cleats, as long as they're allowed to pay.
That's set off the "wallet wars," with major players racing to connect to agents:
- Stripe's Link: 300M users
- Shopify's Shop Pay: 250M users
- PayPal: 400M+ users
How your agent pays matters. If a wallet pays the store with its own stand-in card, the purchase goes through, but your card rewards, purchase protections, and relationship with the store can get lost along the way.
Say your agent books a United flight on your airline credit card. If the wallet pays United with its own virtual card, the money moves, and your miles may never show up.
Agents also have to pick the right card for each purchase, and when one books the wrong hotel dates, someone has to make it right.
Where it's all headed: new open standards from Visa, Mastercard, and Amex.
"The best of all worlds is a future where my agent can use my credit card, without having my credit card."

ELON MUSK: “It's going to be pretty wild that you can have a rocket car. The car has attitude control thrusters and main thrusters in the rear, so it can basically fly like a rocket. It could do rolls. It could do crazy gymnastics. Whatever you want, really.
This is not necessarily a safety-optimized car, but it takes the fun meter to 11 out of 10.
This will be an actual car that’s on the roads. I’m not sure it’s necessarily legal in all jurisdictions.
The car can recharge its air tank, so it’s not like you need special propellant or anything like that. It literally is just going to pop itself up and be able to do these maneuvers whenever you’d like.”

🇺🇸 BREAKING: Bank of America has been fined $1.2 BILLION by the US government.
The bank failed to flag over $5 BILLION in suspicious transactions, the Treasury says.
The missed transactions were linked to suspected Chinese money laundering networks and illicit finance around the southern US border.
The Treasury called the bank’s money laundering and sanctions failures “egregious and continued.”
The penalty includes a $750 MILLION fine from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, per the FT.
