We love Bentley! One of our @BelmontSoftball biggest fans and one of the coolest guys we know.
Please keep Bentley and the Spindlers in your prayers.

Got news today that Bentleys femur fracture was the result of a rare form of cancer called ewings sarcoma. Been at the Mayo Clinic Rochester since Thursday. He will have a long road to recovery, but he has a positive outlook and vows to return to playing hockey.

As a mid-major, @BelmontSoftball won a game against Mississippi State this year, and held No. 1 seed Alabama to three runs. Both of those excellent teams are in the Elite Eight. A remarkable year for the Bruins.

Thank you to everyone who followed along with our @BelmontSoftball season. I love this team and couldn’t be prouder to be part of it. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of players or staff. I’m sad it’s over but am grateful for every second.
