With RC Baltimore on the horizon, I wrote many words about Goryo’s. From thought’s on card selection to a brief explanation of popular matchups. If you’re considering Goryo’s for the RC or want to read about my time playing and learning the deck you should check it out.
Locked up an RC St. Louis invite @apexgamingMTG this weekend with Goryo’s. By far the best vibes deck in the format and stories just the coolest card.

Split the finals of the Apex team event playing with @JimmusMangoes and @ScottyDoolittle. Met the @Arcbound_Papi team in the finals after I ignored his 75. I prioritized 8 cantrips opening up the ability to pivot from weapons+thoughtcast to faster preordain fueled openers.
The best affinity guide just dropped, don’t miss out on it

Made a quick pithing needle naming priority list for modern affinity with @Ryan__39 to help out newer players trying this deck for the RCQ season or returning players picking modern back up.
Affinity mirror is posted in a separate picture because it's based on board states
Top 8 in the modern showcase, studied the blade under @Arcbound_Papi. We came up with extra enablers to support 3 copies of Krang and a cool sideboard pivot to all 4 robots in the less interactive matchups. Lost round 1 to boros before rattling off 8 straight.
Rough sideboard plans for the Sultai Control deck I played in the Richmond 1k. Wanted to post for any brave NRG grinders trying to put Uro on the stack this weekend.
Really bummed out my local premium store didn’t have the nonfoil store champs promos @PlayMTG
R.I.P. to @T1Looting and I
