We have officers on scene at Loma Vista Middle School, located at 11050 Arlington Avenue, for reports of a single gunshot fired into the ground that occurred around 5:00 p.m. NO ONE WAS INJURED.

Officers have recovered a firearm and evidence but we do not have any suspect information at this time.

Due to a fire at the old abandoned Mr.T’s restaurant, Main Street, between 14th Street and 12th Street, will be closed to all traffic. Also, 13th Street between Market Street and Orange Street will also be blocked off.

This is regarding a person experiencing a mental health crisis and threatening to jump from the eastbound 91 off ramp at 14th Street. Our Emergency Negotiators are talking with him now, and our Community Behavioral Health Assessment Team is on the way.

POLICE ACTIVITY - 2600 BLOCK OF ALESSANDRO BOULEVARD
We have officers on scene of an officer involved shooting in the 2600 block of Alessandro Boulevard. Expect a police presence in this area over the next few hours. No officers or other people were injured.
The situation has been resolved and further details will be in an official press release sometime tomorrow.
Use Lincoln Avenue as an alternate route around this collision.
Please avoid the area while our officers work to resolve this situation.
