I’m in the @nytimes Modern Love column this week. Big thanks to @danjonesnyt and all the dogs that made this possible. Grab a print issue this Sunday. Or don’t! It’s awkward, I know. We don’t have to talk about it. Forget I said anything. Bye! nyti.ms/2zYiGJb

It feels like we’ve spent the last month moving from one holiday feast to another. Thanksgiving seems like it was five minutes ago. But it's never a bad time to talk food with our bud @Ryan_Pfefferoni on @WLRNSundial wlrn.org/podcast/sundial/202…

Charlie’s doctor said researching this guide took ā€œat least 72 hoursā€ off his life expectancy the least you could do is read it 🌭🌭🌭
Making lunch plans for this weekend? Thinking about a hot dog maybe? Well, lucky you! I put together a list for @infatuation of the best hot dogs in Miami (and they’re all over the city so one is close to you no matter where you are). theinfatuation.com/miami/gui…

I know this is a story for the financial times but you would truly get the sense that Black people don't live in Miami or that stark economic disparities are imaginary concerns in one of the most unlivable cities in the country for working-class people ft.com/content/77ee0d8d-bf74…

Great deep dive on the Miami restaurant real estate market from @chrismohney
Unless you got that Carbone money, renting a restaurant in Miami is still a risky and expensive proposition. stories.zagat.com/posts/what…

I've found myself wondering a lot this last year: boy, there are so many incredible pop-ups happening in parking lots across Miami. Why don't these people have restaurants?! Lots of quotes in here that answer that question in mildly to very depressing ways!

I love Miami for many reasons, and especially for its cultural diversity. Our best restaurants celebrate that culture (whether a single one or a combination of many). But the worst ones treat it like a product.
Thankful for platforms like @infatuation Miami & @Ryan_Pfefferoni for always putting out honest reviews, & for standing up for the Asian community. theinfatuation.com/miami/rev… Thank you @Carlos_Frias for calling out the restaurant's original name very early on.

I went to every single NYC restaurant that opened in Miami over the last year, and, turns out, the New York āœˆļø Miami pandemic restaurant migration was not the watershed moment lots of folks made it out to be. theinfatuation.com/miami/gui…

Miami was a legitimate food city before these restaurants came to town, and will be after some of them inevitably leave. (Cote is good tho. Go to Cote)

Nothing makes me feel like a single-celled organism quite like trying to write fiction, which is why it's so cool to have a short story published in @SinkingCity's latest issue! V appreciative to contribute to a much-needed home for local fiction! šŸ¦ˆšŸ¬šŸ sinkingcity.as.miami.edu/rya…

The year is 2023. Your stomach growls, signaling the REEF belt you're wearing around your waist. A whistling sound in the distance, coming closer. A burrito crashes through your window. Your account is charged $23. theinfatuation.com/miami/fea…

seems like a real no-🧠-er for a workforce that deals with (quite possibly) more unmasked folks than any other essential workers in Florida
