Think about this:
Michael Jordan scored 3,041 points in 1986–87.
Nearly 40 years later, nobody else has cracked 3,000.
The closest anyone has come?
Jordan himself the very next season: 2,868.
Kobe Bryant in 2006: 2,832.
James Harden in 2019: 2,818.
To surpass 3,041, you’d need to average more than 37 points per game while playing all 82.
And Jordan wasn’t just scoring.
He also averaged 5.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 2.9 steals and 1.5 blocks.
Nearly four decades of incredible scorers have come and gone.
They’re all still looking up at what 23-year-old Michael Jordan did in 1986–87.
Some records are meant to be broken.
Some remind you there are levels to this.

Mike Ditka’s final recorded videos before his passing show the legendary coach using Cameo to lift spirits, support charities, and connect deeply with his lifelong fans.
In a series of short clips, an 86-year-old Ditka is seen raising money for Catholic schools, backing military veterans, and cheering on a fan fighting a severe illness with a 10% survival rate. He even left business advice, telling a fan to "hold firm on those prices like my '85 defense would." A true champion until the very end.

Cris Collinsworth: I was trying to download some scary movies this week and accidentally clicked one called The Hills Have Thighs. I tell ya Mike, it wasn't as scary as the one I wanted, but I still watched it twice.

Oh my God! Was working just found out about RJ
I am heartbroken
Though RJ didn’t play my TV son, I always looked out for him as a young kid on set. He was a sweetheart of a young man and will be greatly missed. This is so heartbreaking, I can’t believe it. Thinking of him and his family.

I’m in total disbelief my Commanders had such poor clock management in today’s overtime game against the Giants. All we had to do was kick the field goal and we would have won the game!🤦🏾♂️
