Today, I had the amazing opportunity to learn about and try out several adapted cycling products! I was able to test out frame running, which will officially become a Paralympic sport at LA28.
Grateful for the opportunity to try adaptive water skiing with Northeast Passage today! It was an incredible hands-on learning experience and a beautiful day to get out on Bow Lake. Always grateful for opportunities to learn, grow, and experience adaptive recreation firsthand!
This summer has been busy! I coached three different lacrosse teams this spring into summer and now just finished my Seven Week Summer Recreation Camp Program.
I’ve been quite busy the past couple of months, dedicating myself to something I genuinely enjoy. Next year, I’m fortunate to continue learning and working diligently at a new place!
Student teaching placement 1 is officially over. I’m incredibly sad to be leaving, but my amazing students made me cute thank you cards.

Another fantastic week at the 87th NYS AHPERD conference. I had the privilege of sharing my research, which I’ve been working on for the past two years. It was an incredible opportunity to reconnect with some amazing people and continue learning and growing!
I had a wonderful time presenting my research poster yesterday. Thank you to everyone who attended and asked questions.

PE in PA is at risk—again. Let’s take a stand!
We need your voice to protect quality Physical Education in Pennsylvania. Senate Bill 589 would allow interscholastic athletics to replace PE requirements in schools—undermining the importance of comprehensive physical education for all students.
Teachers, parents, students, and community members: please sign and share this petition to oppose SB 589. Our goal is 1,500 signatures by May 12, 2025—and we can’t do it without you.

Year 3 and it just continues to get better. This year I truly felt the support and community that @NYSAHPERD provides for its future professionals.
Building and creating new connections will always be the best and most rewarding part of this experience.
