I suspect report's of Twitter's death are exaggerated. But in case it is dying, maybe even if it's not, I am probably going to take it as an opportunity to spend less time on social media. I reserve the right to change my mind, but you probably won't find me on Mastadon.

I'm doing an AMA on the r/CanadaPolitics subreddit tomorrow at noon EST. It's supposed to be about the trade war, obviously, but since it's an AMA I suppose it could also be about anything anyone can imagine to ask. Link below: reddit.com/r/CanadaPolitics/…

And an entire nation, all at once, Googles "hydronyms."
The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”. The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America. We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms. Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.

This seems unnecessary, like the people of Toronto have every opportunity to see racoons, not sure they need to be in the zoo. In fact, there are probably racoons in the zoo already, just look for the Zoo's dumpsters.
