This dude is my spirit animal
Guy in front of me on the plane yesterday, probably 6'5", 280, meathead, covered in tats. Four-hour flight. Scrolling through the seatback TV, he finally picks Sandlot. Watches the entire thing, doesn't smile or look away once.
The credits roll, The End.
Bro presses "Play Again." Watches Sandlot again. The Jet steals home (for the second time) right as the seatbelt sign goes off at the arrival gate. No phone, no e-mail, no music. Just back-to-back Sandlots from ATL to Boise.
Unbelievable energy.
New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool.
Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can.
Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment.
A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.
This tweet is still criminally under-liked.
Just used this authenticator. Highly recommend
If you are the first in line at a stoplight, you have a moral obligation to not be looking at your phone.
God, grant me the serenity to accept AI taking half of my job, the courage to keep doing the other half, and the wisdom to know the difference. 😅
The whole "it's not x, it's y" bit from ai-generated text is driving me insane. Worse giveaway than the em dash and more annoying.
I can't take anything seriously that's written this way. Is it just me?
Hey @loganjrankin, what metrics are you using through Appfolio to incentive your maintenance techs? Setting up something similar at one of my properties.
Surveys for move-ins and service requests via Appfolio or something else?
It's already clear that @uscfb has the best receiving duo in CFB this year. @getabagkai and @cantGuardJak1 are unreal.
