This Wednesday 8/17 is our LA premiere of the @sydandmikenyc sketch show. EPed by Steve Pink (Hot Tub Time Machine), some incredibly talented people worked really hard on this, and Iβm super proud of what we made. If you are in LA Iβd love for you to see it. Tix link in comments
So much is so awful for so many of us right now. But the one thing that consistently, without fail, even if briefly, gives me joy⦠is live music.
@65dos transcending it all. Live in Brixton, 16 Sept 2023.
Our new sketch pilot @sydandmikenyc is winning awards! Thanks to @SeriesFest for a great premiere, where we won the Audience Award for Best Comedy Pilot. You can find more details on my website: ryanscafuro.com/news/2022/10β¦
Started developing film I took at @RebellionFest, and I gotta say considering the "conditions" (mosh pit, sweaty hands, foggy viewfinder, a heavily inebriated and over-exhausted brain), I'm pretty happy with how they are turning out. Punk's not dead, neither are you. π§·β€οΈβπ₯

Just a few photos from our LA premiere of @sydandmikenyc. Thanks @HollyShorts for hosting such a great festival!

Loop back to the stairs and you'll see polaroids by @RyanScafuro & @phenmas. Punks, friends, familiars. This snapshots are comforting and friendly in a way that only weirdos and outsiders can understand, when you cross paths with someone else who gets it. 27/

My buddy @orenbrimer and I known each other for 15 years. And tonight we screened our new project @sydandmikenyc in the same block as him @HollyShorts. It was fucking SPECIAL.π§·β€οΈβπ₯ More picsπ
This photo of the @sydandmikenyc connection pretty much encapsulates the night.
And this is the photo of the whole @sydandmikenyc team on our LA premier at @HollyShorts.

"Syd & Mike" already has all the effortless chemistry you need for a great sketch show. The end segment of their pilot was one of my favorite things I saw all week. youtube.com/watch?v=kvVvhSAYβ¦

The film BELFAST is the most stunning piece of cinema Iβve seen in years. I donβt say that lightly.
Another few from the archive. @iamsambee always made sure the color grade had a pink hue. (This was pre @FullFrontalSamB in @TheDailyShow days).
