Haney is going to be on the shelf for 12+ months. I understand why fights with Davis, Stevenson, and Romero didn't happen. At the same time, that much inactivity won't do him any favors. At this pace, he's going to end up fighting Barboza, Catterall or someone like that.

🚨 PARO WANTED $1.73M FOR HANEY 👀 Australian journalist Peter Badel 8 days ago: "Liam Paro — a little bit has gone quiet there. Look I've been talking to his team. They've been a little bit frustrated. They're trying to get the right fight at the right price for Liam. I'm told he was seeking around 2.5 million Australian dollars ($1.73 million US) for a fight against Haney. Haney didn't want to pay him that amount." (@JaiMcAllisterx)

And do you really want to be on the shelf for that long while the other half of your expected mega fight (R. Garcia) is fighting regularly and getting in rhythm? Given how much he's made, I'd expect he can afford to sit on the shelf, but is that what is best long term?

EXCLUSIVE: Four years ago, the NFL pledged $7 million to non-profits as part of Deshaun Watson’s suspension. But that money didn't all go to charity. Instead, the league steered some of the money back to itself to pay for its own internal "training." foiaball.com/p/nfl-deshaun-w…

What happened to the NFL's $7 million Deshaun Watson fund?

MS NOW analyzed Trump Justice Department data and found Kash Patel is making false statements about FBI crime stats. The FBI under Patel has brought thousands fewer criminal cases than previous administrations. The findings rebut Patel's claims that he has led a crackdown on violent crime. ms.now/news/crime-stats-tout…

Crime stats touted by Kash Patel are bolstered by arrests made by state and local agencies, not FBI

An analysis of publicly available data from the Justice Department shows repeated claims made by the FBI director are false or misleading.

On one hand, it's disappointing to see that he's signed with Zuffa. On the other hand, the WBO immediately forcing him to make the mandatory defense that Janibek should have fought is ridiculous.

This morning on ESPN's First Take, Nick Saban argued player and coach pay are "totally different markets." "That's like asking me 'Does a student's scholarship equal the professor's pay?' I mean, how much value does a coach create for a university?" 📺 💰️

Months ago, the prevailing thought was that if the fight was in the US, it needed to be on Friday to avoid college football. But if it's on December 11 in Cardiff, why is it on a Friday? The only FBS college football game on the 12th is Army v. Navy, which will be over by 6:30/7
