I lead Strategic Finance Foundations at @OpenAI, and I use Codex for everything. It all started with gaining leverage on our hardest monthly finance process ~6 months ago. Now I’m sharing 180 days of lessons on designing better work with AI — for any knowledge worker. The idea behind the series is simple: learn how to design the work. Break the problem into steps, give the right context, and know where human judgment matters. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗚𝗣𝗧 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗧𝗶𝗽 #𝟭 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄.

Happy #LovingDay, Madam Vice President! A love like yours and @SecondGentleman is an inspiration to all. Thank you for your amazing example! Can’t wait until this is officially nationally recognized 😉
Today is the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision in Loving v. Virginia, which unanimously ruled that bans on interracial marriage are unconstitutional. The @SecondGentleman and I want to wish you all a happy #LovingDay.

ICYMI I wrote my first newsletter over the weekend. notes.causal.engineering/arc… Still getting the hang of longer form writing, and the newsletter format. I've especially enjoyed the thoughtful responses I've gotten over email. Thanks for subscribing and reading!

This is a fun blog post -- so much local structure pops out from ride request pickups and destination data. Great work @ajwchin et al! eng.lyft.com/lyft-and-urban-…

Wow… this obituary. (In yesterdays NYT. Yes I read the tiny obituaries. That means I get to see amazing stories like this. It’s like micro-nonfiction.)

It’s Loving Day! A mere 54 years ago, the Supreme Court made interracial marriage legal in the USA. Thank you @ACLU for fighting the good fight decades ago, and creating the possibility for my two wonderful half-Chinese half-Caucasian kids to exist.

The biggest shift in the last 15 years of politics is that "class" has become far more synonymous with education instead of income. Income was actually more predictive of white voters' preferences in 2006. Today, income basically is basically unpredictive. cnn.com/2021/04/04/politics/…
