In South Ga there isnt another generation behind me wanting to farm. Honestly what normal individual wants to do this shit. – at Ashburn, GA
Everybody wants a piece of agriculture. The bank wants interest. The supplier wants a bigger check. Organizations want dues. Bureaucrats want to control the Reports.
The farmer? We just want enough left to raise our families and give our kids a reason to come back.
When did that become too much to ask?
Vote @TylerHarperGA best AG Commissioner georgia has ever had!!!! – at Ashburn, GA
From the gas in your car to the groceries in your shopping cart, the Georgia Department of Ag impacts every Georgia every day.
I’ve fought to lower the cost of gas and groceries; to protect Georgia farmers, Georgia Farmland, and Georgia’s food supply; and to put more Georgia Grown food in school cafeterias around the state.
I have delivered real results - that’s why leaders from both parties are supporting my campaign for re-election.

.@SecRollins and I have heard the stories from farmers firsthand. The threatening calls from equipment dealers. The formal and informal terms that limit choice on everything from service to sales. Together with @FTC, we want to take action on your behalf. Share your story of improper behavior in the market for ag equipment at the link below. You can do so while remaining anonymous. It's time for free and fair markets to return for ag inputs.

DC politicians dont give 2 shits about the American People that's the problem. – at Phillipsburg, GA
The last full farm bill Congress passed was signed in December 2018.
That's nearly eight years ago.
Since then, Washington has done what it does best: kick the can down the road. Extension after extension. The latest one runs out September 30.
In April, the House passed its version. In August, the Senate Agriculture Committee couldn't get its bill out of committee. When it finally did in September, it was on a straight party-line vote, 12 to 11.
The holdup wasn't crop insurance. It wasn't conservation. It wasn't fair markets. A major sticking point was a partisan standoff over who pays what for food assistance.
Now the September 30 deadline is here, and Congress still hasn't sent a new farm bill to the President.
Farmers don't get an extension on their bills. They come due whether Congress gets its work done or not.
So farmers are left to wonder: where exactly are they on Washington's priority list?
We are the Rural Independence Initiative.
We are fighting for change in Washington, to put farmers ahead of partisan political games.

Scoop: Congressional staffers planned official trip with luxury stops in Italy and France 2 weeks before election
The weeklong bipartisan trip — which included visits to a Ferrari factory, luxury brands in Milan or Florence & day trips to the Champagne wine region — was to be led by a top aide to House Speaker Mike Johnson.
It was canceled TODAY after @NBCNews asked about the itinerary. nbcnews.com/politics/congres…
