I got this email over the weekend. Most of the time, educators don’t get to know the impact they have on their students, especially administrators. I’m so happy I could make a small difference in this young man’s life, and am incredibly proud of him.

Good grief! Of course basic math skills matter and every student should have a mastery of them at a MINIMUM. This is a ridiculous hot take from a very smart and accomplished CEO. Not knowing where he lives isn’t the flex he thinks it is either.

Sometimes the small things matter a lot. We raised daily and long-term pay for all @UsdBellflower substitute teachers, and now our retirees who return to sub will receive the long-term rate as their regular daily rate. Great subs matter.
