RE: VCT CN from my experience.
I saw China was having some rough games in Champs with lots of people talking about ‘how could this happen’. I wanted to give my 2 cents from not only watchpartying CN and talking to the players/coaches a lot but also from briefly coaching there over the past few years. To be clear I love the teams still, the players are all absolutely lovely and the Chinese region as a whole is still incredibly close to my heart. I’m just adding my BRIEF observations.
One of the most standout to me from the players POV is how much they are convinced that ‘aim beats everything’, if a player had a bad game or scrim, instead of feeling like it’s to do with utility, decision making or general game sense, they’ll go queue aim trainers for an hour straight or do deathmatch and I think a lot of that comes from the GMs too. There’s so much innate talent in China so the overfocus on aim means that players feel convinced to focus on that alone otherwise they’re likely to be replaced, especially when in game stats are constantly used to measure a players value, ‘if you’re not hitting 20 kills a game you’re underperforming’ like yeah no shit you have players going for silly peeks when that’s drilled into their brain.
It’s been well over a year since I coached in China so stuff may have changed but especially with initiator utility being nerfed and the game requiring more ‘CS’-esque map clearing, it just feels like the higher ups in China are still just focussing on the wrong things.
Again, I love the region and I know they can be a powerhouse in VALORANT when we learn the lessons here.
Made a Deadlock guide for returning players. Focussing mostly on some of the big changes that happened between the Old Gods update in January and now. Enjoy!

I need help.
Hello everyone, this isn't easy for me.
My mom is in cancer treatment, which is paid for by the government. However, we cannot afford the dental treatment for my mother's teeth falling out due to everything. I've given my mom every penny I have, and the rest we cannot cover because my mom is in debt and the medical loan was rejected by the bank. I don't know what else to do, and after talking with some close friends in the community, I've decided to reach out here. It's not fun for me, and I feel disgusting, but I'd literally die for my mother.
The idea is as follows: Coming next weekend, 2/10–4/10, I'll be doing a subathon with a charity tournament on 3/10. The medical bill is €3,100, and any excess will be donated towards cancer research. There will be goals for the donation bar, the last one being me shaving my head. I need ideas for more goals and ideas for the tournament. Anything is appreciated.
Anyone who is interested in helping with organizing, and anyone who wishes to participate, can leave a comment below or send me a DM on Discord: knuten
I know this is by far a long shot, but I have nowhere else to turn. My mother means the world to me, and I'd literally do anything for her.
More updates regarding the subathon times and tournament start/rules/gimmicks, etc. will be rolled out throughout the coming week.

When @DeathyDL reaches 100,000 subscribers we’re going to recreate this as a sub goal.

Imagine you’ve spent all summer convincing yourself that “This is Manchester United” are back, only to have middle aged men pretending to be tigers in your face 45 mins into the season.
Night Shift #52 Hero Priority + Strength
I know people love the data from Night Shift for who is picked/banned but wanted to add in Winrate.
Meta = Hero priority and how good they seem to be
Power = How well they actually performed
LASH PLAYERS
Here are the most common lane pairings with ✨THE LASH✨from the Pro Scene so far (900+ games)
Are there any other heroes you want me to go over? #deadlock
With the upcoming format change and new Open Qualifiers going into 2027, if you're part of a team looking to figure out how to showcase your games then let's talk.
Before Franchising in 2023 I was running one-man-shows with stream graphics, casters, replays and of course observing the games too. No matter the budget you're working with, there are ways to scale it up or down depending on your needs.
I've worked on hundreds of VALORANT shows since 2020, observed nearly every game of VCT EMEA and most recently Masters London and EWC. I have a mini home control room and contacts in all roles to fill a broadcast team.
Email in bio. Let's talk.
