Another dispute, as in "don't shoot me in the chest"
The man who was fatally shot in the chest on the platform at the 53rd Street/7th Avenue station in Midtown Manhattan on Saturday has been identified as Darell Rodriguez, 26, of the Bronx.
Rodriguez is believed to have been heading home from work as a security guard at the front desk of a Manhattan building.
He was waiting for a northbound E train to his home in University Heights when his killer approached and shot him once, police sources told The Post.
The pair had a dispute on the platform, although details remain unclear, NYPD Deputy Chief Keith Shine said on Sunday.
The killer then left the station traveling northbound on 7th Ave., and is still on the loose, according to police.
