Navy SEALs have a saying.
You may find it helpful.
When something sucks, they look at each other and say:
"FULL BENEFIT"
It’s an instant mindset shift.
• Hiking and it starts pouring rain?
• Driving and your car breaks down?
• Working on a project and lost a draft?
FULL BENEFIT.
***
LESSON: Adversity is an opportunity
The message is simple.
Every adversity is an opportunity.
• To grow
• To learn
• To evolve
• To get stronger
• To become better
These moments forge us if we let them.
The next time you're facing something hard, welcome it.
Work through the process.
Learn the lessons.
Reap the full benefit.

I am always inspired by our intentional, creative teachers, welcoming students back from who-knows-what kind of spring break they’ve had. #safeplace #happyplace – at Van, TX
@twhiddleston My wife is a huge fan of yours and her birthday is coming up on April 27. Could you send me a video telling her Happy Birthday? Can’t wait to watch Loki on Disney+ soon!

COVID doesn’t stop our teachers. It makes their job much, much harder.
But it doesn’t stop them.
They don’t stop caring. They don’t stop delivering. They don’t stop making an impact.
Congratulations!!! @egaly @VanISDTX - A Vandal Doing Great Things!
