Attended peaceful protests against VietNam War at UT in 1970s where I was maced. My husband was beaten and arrested. Students are directly impacted by war/international conflict and have every right to speak out. Their voices are critical in shaping policy impacting their future.
At least 40 people were arrested Monday at an encampment on the south lawn of UT Austin's campus, according to George Lobb, an attorney who helped coordinate the release of protesters arrested last week. l8r.it/ZJgU

Lilly prices new weight-loss drug Zepbound at about $1,060 per month before insurance, and will offer savings coupons for patients with commercial insurance.
Mounjaro is $1,023/month.
Wegovy is $1,349 - Lilly points out it priced at a 20% discount.
There's a new weight loss drug on the scene: Zepbound
It's Eli Lilly's Mounjaro (tirzepatide), previously just approved for type 2 diabetes, but already used widely off-label for weight loss: cnn.com/2023/11/08/health/ze…

When I asked my patient, “What meds do you take?” she showed me this. She had a ‘current meds’ bundle and a ‘no longer taking’ bundle. She wrote notes like “blood sugar” or “blood pressure" on each card. I asked to share her brilliant idea and she said, ‘absolutely!' #MedTwitter
this happened to me last year & i had to tell my RPD and colleagues that i failed.. only to be told a few days later that i actually passed. worst week of my academic/professional life. “committed to ensuring an accurate and valid exam process” not committed enough i guess 🤷🏽♀️
