We're "sorry" we've given £72,000,000,000 of your money to our shareholders but that means we've now got none left so we think you should give us some more.
Let's call it another £10,000,000,000 as a bit of a down payment shall we?
Bloody hell!
After dumping sewage in seas, chemically polluting rivers, failing to upgrade Victorian pipes & handing huge dividends to shareholders, all water firms have to offer is “sorry - oh by the way we’re putting your bills up”. What a shitshow. @Feargal_Sharkey

I hear the water industry has a big announcement tomorrow.
Will it be a truly radical and compelling solution to the sewage scandal or the same old rearranging of the deckchairs?
My money’s on the latter.

I’m a church leader and a former UN Special Advisor on Human Trafficking. Not only do I endorse @JustinWelby’s condemnation of govt’s proposed asylum bill, because it does not stand “the judgment of God” but, I would add, it does not meet the judgement of the UN either!

Private health firms donated £800,000 to Conservatives
Where there is £ donated decisions are influenced
Years ago Drs were prevented from receiving gifts (pens, post-it pads, etc) from Pharmaceutical companies for ‘fear’ of influence

Well Rishi you could start by funding and staffing mental health services better… then we could look at the impact of a decade of Tory rule/ austerity on the world our young people live in…😡
I cannot begin to imagine the pain of losing a child to suicide.
Yesterday I met @3dadswalking who, through their grief, walked the length and breadth of the UK for @PAPYRUS_Charity
Mike, Andy and Tim, it was an honour to meet you yesterday.

A 12 yr old boy was drugged, overpowered & repeatedly raped by Rocky Franklin who is now in prison.
23 of his rape videos were sold on PH who took 35% of profit & sold ads on them.
The boy is suing.
PH’s new owner Solomon Friedman called the boy’s lawsuit a “misunderstanding.”

Even this very day I am hearing from survivors whose underage violent rape videos are still on P*rnhub despite their best efforts to remove them.
Shut it down and hold ALL executives accountable—and that now includes the new owners at “Ethical Capital.” #Traffickinghub

The numbers are out.

Imagine if your 15 year old daughter was missing for a year and you found her being raped for profit in 58 videos on P*rnhub because you were tipped off by someone who recognized her….
That happened.

Am listening to a @BBCRadio4 programme discussing Sex Education. Seems to be an unhelpful assumption that adults who question whether under 16’s should be having sex are anti consent education. I am pro consent AND think it’s better for young people to delay sexual activity.

.@BBCNews is there a reason why you are not giving this huge junior doctor protest the airtime it deserves?
This would seem important especially given the current questions about your impartiality
