Chesterton’s Fence is a warning: If you don’t understand why a fence was built, you have no business tearing it down. And I think this is one of the best frameworks for examining feminism. Marriage. Monogamy. Sexual restraint. Motherhood. Gender roles. Male provision. Feminism saw many of these institutions as “constraints” on women. But what if it mistook civilization’s guardrails for women’s cages? What if marriage didn’t just constrain women but it constrained male sexual opportunism? What if sexual norms didn’t just restrict women but they demanded commitment and responsibility from men? What if traditional roles didn’t just obligate women to nurture but they obligated men to provide, protect and sacrifice? Maybe some fences needed to come down, I’m happy to keep that option open. But before we tore them down, did we understand what they were holding up? I’m going to assume many never took the time to question that.

Common misconception: Many people think Christians think they're perfect, holier than thou, goodie too shoes and above others. Not even close! Real Christianity is acknowledging we are sinners, broken & in need/thankful for salvation! We could do better expressing this?

Did you know that Satan cannot attack you without your consent? 🤔🚪 God has given us the gift of ‘free will.’ When we lie, unforgive, or choose the wrong path, we open a door for Satan that should have remained closed.🙏✝️ Ask yourself today: “Which door am I opening in my life—God’s or sin’s?” 👇

You know what shook me when I was Muslim? The story of Hosea. God tells a prophet to marry a woman He knows will betray him. She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, used up, worthless to the world. And God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK. To pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. Hosea 3. I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Why would any man do that? Then I realized I was the wife. I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters. I sold myself cheap. I made myself worthless. And God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.” He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.” That’s the Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean. He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty. Islam told me to make myself worthy of God. Hosea showed me a God who pays to redeem the unworthy. The cross was Him naming the price. Praise the Lord.

As an Ex-Muslim, let me explain a rabbinic mystery that points straight at the Trinity I used to mock. The most important prayer in Judaism is the Shema: “Hear O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.” Deuteronomy 6:4. I used to quote this AGAINST Christians. “See? God is ONE!” But here’s what I didn’t know. The Hebrew word for “one” there is echad. And echad isn’t always a solitary one. When the Bible says a man and wife become “one flesh” — that’s echad. Genesis 2:24. Two becoming a unity. When the people acted “as one man” — echad. A unified many. There’s a different Hebrew word for absolute, solitary oneness — yachid. And God did NOT use it in the Shema. He chose echad. Compound unity. Plural oneness. So it flipped on me… The verse I used to disprove the Trinity was secretly the door to it. And in Genesis, God says “Let US make man in OUR image.” Genesis 1:26. Us. Our. From the very first chapter. I was using the oneness of God to fight the Gospel. But His oneness was never the flat, solitary kind. It was always rich enough to hold a Father, a Son, and a Spirit.

Six reasons I can't go back to Islam. 1. The Quran repeatedly affirms the Torah that existed in the 7th century. Today, thanks to the Dead Sea Scrolls, we know that Torah is substantially the same Torah we have now. 2. The Quran retells stories of the prophets, but many of those details resemble Jewish oral traditions and Midrash rather than the Torah itself. 3. The claim that Abraham and Ishmael built the Kaaba has no clear historical or archaeological evidence behind it. 4. The Kaaba was never God's first sanctuary. Long before Islam, Scripture describes God's tabernacle, His presence, His covenant, and His instructions for worship. 5. Islam removes the biblical system of atonement. No mercy seat. No sacrifice. No Ark of the Covenant. Which leaves me asking: how is sin ultimately dealt with? 6. Jesus. Not as a theological concept. As a living Savior. I encountered Him. He pulled me out of performance-based religion and gave me peace I never found through striving. You can debate doctrine all day. But I can't unsee what I've seen. I can't unknow what I've learned. And I can't walk away from the One who changed my life. No turning back.

Saved people are in a lifelong process of sanctification. Even after coming to Christ, believers can struggle with all kinds of idols. Those idols could be a substance, approval, work, relationships, comfort, or control. The Holy Spirit doesn’t make us instantly flawless. He grows us over time. Anything we turn to for comfort before Jesus can become an idol, and that looks different for every person. Instead of condemning one specific struggle, Scripture calls all of us to examine our hearts (Psalm 139:23–24) and to walk by the Spirit as He transforms us (Galatians 5:16). The goal isn’t to claim perfection but to keep turning back to Jesus and letting Him be our ultimate source of peace and strength.

Why Supersessionism Makes Sense From Satan’s Perspective Satan does not try to erase Scripture — he tries to redefine it. If he can convince believers that God no longer means what He said to Israel, then God’s covenant faithfulness itself becomes questionable. This is why Supersessionism has been one of the most effective theological deceptions in history. But Scripture stands in his way: “He will NOT cast away His people whom He foreknew…” (Romans 11:2) ▶️ 1. Origen — The Seed of Reinterpretation Origen introduced allegory in a way that detached Israel’s promises from their plain meaning. The literal land… became “the soul.” The nation… became “the Church.” The kingdom… became “spiritual triumph.” This was Satan’s opening move. If the meaning of Israel’s future becomes fluid, then the promises become vulnerable. The devil doesn’t need the Church to reject Scripture only to reinterpret it just enough to sever Israel from its destiny. But God speaks with cosmic clarity: “If heaven ABOVE can be measured… THEN I will cast off Israel.” (Jeremiah 31:37) Heaven is unmeasured. Israel is uncast off. ▶️ 2. Augustine — Turning Error Into a System In City of God, Augustine absorbed Origen’s approach and re-framed Israel’s entire future: The Church = “true Israel” The Kingdom = spiritual Prophecy = fulfilled allegorically Israel’s restoration = unnecessary Here the deception crystallized. Augustine’s brilliance didn’t invent replacement theology — it normalized it. For the first time, the Church felt theologically justified in ignoring Israel’s literal future. But Paul had already drawn the boundary line: “A PARTIAL hardening… UNTIL the fullness of the Gentiles… THEN all Israel WILL be saved.” (Romans 11:25–26) Partial is not total. Temporary is not permanent. Israel’s story is not over. ▶️ 3. Medieval Catholicism — Theology Turned Into Policy Over centuries, Augustine’s system evolved into a worldview that shaped laws, culture, and identity: “Witness People” doctrine (Jews preserved only as proof of their supposed defeat) Forced badges and ghettos Destruction of Hebrew texts Crusader massacres Legalized humiliation and segregation This is where Satan’s strategy went from intellectual to institutional. When theology says Israel is rejected, the culture eventually feels righteous in mistreating Jews. Distorted doctrine becomes dark policy. But God never aligned with this: “For Zion’s sake, I will NOT keep silent… UNTIL her righteousness goes forth as brightness.” (Isaiah 62:1) The Church grew silent. God did not. ▶️ 4. Luther — The Reformation Faultline The Reformation rediscovered grace but kept Augustine’s view of Israel. Luther’s late work “On the Jews and Their Lies” echoed the same supersessionist logic with renewed force. Here Satan achieved continuity. Even renewal movements carried the same error forward. Whenever pride rises against Israel, the Church loses clarity — and history ends up bruising the Jews again. Paul foresaw this danger: “Do NOT boast against the branches… you do NOT support the root — the ROOT supports YOU.” (Romans 11:18) A warning we still need. ▶️ 5. Today’s Soft Supersessionism — The Same Lie, Better Packaging Modern theology rarely says, “Israel is replaced.” Instead it says: “The Church fulfills Israel.” “The land promises are symbolic.” “Modern Israel has no prophetic significance.” “Jewish identity is absorbed into Christ.” This is the deception in its most polished form. It sounds thoughtful, humble, scholarly — but it removes Israel from its God-given future just as effectively as older, harsher forms. Ezekiel leaves no ambiguity: “I WILL gather you… I WILL bring you INTO your OWN land… I WILL cleanse you… I WILL put My Spirit within you…” (Ezekiel 36:24–27) History has already confirmed the first half. Prophecy will confirm the second. ▶️ Spurgeon’s Hammer Spurgeon saw the whole issue long before Israel’s modern rebirth: “God meant His promises to Israel LITERALLY, and He will KEEP them literally.” “If God meant the Church, He WOULD have said the Church.” Spurgeon understood that if God’s promises to Israel can be reinterpreted, Christian hope becomes unanchored. A God who breaks old covenants cannot be trusted with new ones. ▶️ Bonhoeffer — A Warning to Pastors Bonhoeffer resisted efforts to detach Christianity from its Jewish roots. He stood against attempts to: remove the Old Testament de-Judaize Jesus justify antisemitism with doctrine redefine Christianity without Israel His life makes the point: Whenever the Church minimizes Israel in theology, evil finds room to grow in society. Pastors today face the same crossroads: Courage or compromise. Scripture or sentiment. Truth or trend. ▶️ The Covenant Scriptures That End the Debate Here is God’s final word on the matter: “For I the LORD do NOT change.” (Malachi 3:6) If He doesn’t change, His covenants don’t change. And: “The gifts AND the calling of God are IRREVOCABLE.” (Romans 11:29) Irrevocable means exactly what it says. Not transferred. Not spiritualized. Not canceled. Not absorbed. ❖ Supersessionism makes sense only from one perspective: the enemy who needs God’s covenants to look unstable. But God has spoken. His promises stand. Israel remains His people. The future is intact. And the dragon has failed.
