Really small chance of a spotty shower south of I-80 tonight into early Wednesday. Overall the vast majority of us stay dry the next 3 days. Gradually warming each day too.

FIRST ALERT to another wonderful day ahead after a chilly start. Highs in the lower 70s are likely with abundant sunshine, light south wind and low dew points. There is a small chance of a shower later overnight into very early Wed. The best odds are south of I-80 for those.

Chilly temperatures win the 40s will again warm today. We should make it into the lower 70s over much of the area. South wind at 5-15 and low dew points will make it very enjoyable. There is a small chance of a shower south of I-80 tonight.

Low dew points on the way all this week into the weekend. Really enjoyable air as the temperature steadily climbs to near 80 degrees by the end of the week. Rain chances by Saturday evening try to cool us but nothing all that cold as of now. May even rebound towards Halloween.

A chilly morning in the 40s makes a run at 70 degrees this afternoon. Light south wind and a low dew point should make for a wonderful afternoon. Temperatures will fall again tonight as the clouds clear out.

FIRST ALERT to a freeze warning now in place for Saturday AM. Widespread frost is likely. A light freeze is now possible for some, especially outside the metro. This will mostly impact plants. It should not be cold enough, long enough to freeze water lines though.

First alert to temperatures dipping near and below 32 for a few hours Sat morning. Widespread frost is likely with some areas getting a brief light freeze. This will damage plants easily but likely won't be cold enough, long enough to damage water lines.

Temperatures should warm quickly Saturday morning after sunrise. That melts the frost quickly and we warm to near 60 degrees. SW gusts to 20 mph will help with that. Sunday should be about 10 degrees warmer with SW gusts to 30 mph that afternoon.

FIRST ALERT to a cold and blustery day Friday, especially in the morning. Wind chills are likely to be in the 30s this morning with air temps in the 40s. Wind gusts spike over 40 mph too. Clouds and the wind will decrease this afternoon. Football tonight will be cold.

Strong NW wind gusts to 40-50 mph are likely at times this morning as the temperatures drop through the 40s. We'll notice the clouds and wind decrease some this afternoon as we warm to near 50 degrees. Then the first frost of the season arrives Sat AM.
