People are calling for the pitcher to hit this kid. Me as a 12 year old, I definitely would have. As an adult, someone has to stop this. Coach umpire someone shouldn’t let this happen.

Blame the parents. As a father, I would never allow my son to showboat like this kid does. Chances are no one has told him it's a dick move....even for 12 year old. Bet a million bucks his dad's a shmuck too.

My kid was pitching a couple weeks ago in a 14u game and a kid did this. No one told him to hit him. But he did. And didn't feel bad about it. Bet the next time he faces that kid he doesnt act like a dick in the batters box.

Big props to your son. Hes already thinking like a team player. No one should showboat and get away with it. Life is full of lessons. Your son probably taught this kid a valuable one. Kudos to your parenting.

Actually, blame the coach to allow this type of nonsense to happen. And if the parent had any problem with it I would tell him/her to take their son and start their own team.
