The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour; now is the only time you own, live, love, toil with a will; place no faith in time for the clock may soon be still.

If you ever find yourself in a pickle and the only way out is telling a classic "Bach joke".
I was reading comments on a news feed and someone posted this. I wish I knew the identity of the writer:
Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Arnold Schwarzenegger were discussing making a new movie that's a drama, rather than an action film. Arnold said, "How about a movie about the great composers?" The others agreed that it was a great idea. They discussed who they were going to play. "I'll be Beethoven," said Stallone. "I'll be Mozart," said Jean-Claude, "What about you, Arnold?" they asked. Schwarzenegger replied, "Don't make me say it, boys!”
This is from my first mega concert (over 50,000 crowd members) on July 4, 1986, at a racetrack outside Austin TX.
The first of 4 other @FarmAid shows between 86-91. Thanks to our ol friend @WillieNelson for letting us be a part of concert history.
Flashback Friday:
@wlgolden and @JoeWalsh perform "Love Is The Only Way Out" live at the @FarmAid concert in Austin, Texas on July 4, 1986. 🧑🌾👩🌾
Be sure to look for @RustyGolden and @thechrisgolden rockin' out too. 😎

Father, @wlgolden, and sons @thechrisgolden and @RustyGolden around the @YamahaPianos C7 inside Dad's house. It was one of the first things he bought in 1981. It's been used to write hundreds of songs since then. The first song received a gold record from @RIAA for over 500k. 🙏

What brother @thechrisgolden says......
I agree with Mr. Kennedy on this one. Hacking is too commonplace nowadays
🇺🇸.
Puerto Rico’s primary elections just experienced hundreds of voting irregularities related to electronic voting machines, according to the Associated Press.
Luckily, there was a paper trail so the problem was identified and vote tallies corrected.
What happens in jurisdictions where there is no paper trail?
US citizens need to know that every one of their votes were counted, and that their elections cannot be hacked. We need to return to paper ballots to avoid electronic interference with elections.
My administration will require paper ballots and we will guarantee honest and fair elections.

I love this place. I don't think I have to explain why. This photo says it all.

It was a real honor to perform at the 42nd annual Sunday Mornin' Country at the @opry during CMA fest this past weekend. @thechrisgolden’s solo spot was especially memorable and it’s always fun to see friends like The Isaacs, Larry Gatlin, and a host of others. 🙏🤠
