How many of us are remembering someone tonight, who loved the Rangers, but didn’t make it see this special moment? A bit bittersweet tonight wishing my friend Todd was with us to share this night. – at Dallas, TX

I’ve never made a political social media post in my life, and I’m 100% comfortable posting this. It’s not political. I’m posting it because my wife is a teacher. And because we have 2 school-aged kids. And because I’m proud to work with @CoachBrentKey and call him a friend. – at Atlanta, GA

Sonny Dykes had already made a clear statement to sexual assault survivors by hiring Kaz Kazadi and then bringing him to TCU.

Christian leaders in your 30s-50s, you’re the ones who’ll raise the next couple of generations of faith. It is crucial—needful—that you disciple them from the start on the values of Jesus. Not political or cultural hybrids. The ways & means of Jesus. Teach people to follow Jesus.

I’m a gun owner. Do not tell me our Founders conceived of this carnage when they wrote the Constitution. Do not tell me they would have tolerated this madness. Do not tell me that teachers must be armed. And do not tell me your AR15 is worth more than another 14 children’s lives.

This letter from a Catholic Priest friend says it all about Arch Bishop Cordileone’s latest misguided decision:
“I want to write a longer piece about those bishops who seek to keep some from the table of Christ, but for now I will say this: it is not your table (nor mine)… 1/5

Studying history will sometimes UPSET you.
Studying history will sometimes make you FURIOUS.
If studying history always makes you feel proud and happy, you probably aren't studying history.
