I was reminded of this on the way home from our awards evening tonight. We don’t always get it right but we will always strive to create a space where students can thrive and belong.

The Music Department provides so much more than just a bit of entertainment. It provides a form of learning unparalleled in its benefit, a sense of belonging and comfort so vital in today’s world, and a unique means of connection that brings the whole school community together.

Best thing I’ve learnt this half term… get into the staff room for lunch, even if it’s only 10 minutes. It’s made such a difference to my well-being ⭐️

Huge honour / privilege / pleasure to lead another Maths session with @ilscitt They were already so well-versed in the principles of lesson design even before the session had started - a testament to the strength of the course. I was magpieing ideas from them for my own setting!

Our Foundation children loved meeting some amazing people as part of their 'What If' learning. They were thinking about the important question... Who helps us? They met a nurse, a dental hygienist, police officers, road safety officers, and dog trainers!
