Russian Public Opinion on 30-Day Truce Between Russia and Ukraine
A recent poll conducted by Levada Center among Russians in March 2025 reveals a divided public opinion on the proposal for a 30-day truce between Russia and Ukraine. According to the survey, 26% of respondents strongly support the idea, while 24% lean towards supporting it. On the other hand, 25% are firmly against the truce, and 16% are somewhat opposed. Interestingly, 10% of those surveyed found it difficult to answer.
The results highlight a nearly equal split between supporters and opponents, reflecting the complexity of public sentiment regarding the ongoing conflict. As diplomatic discussions continue, these insights underscore the challenges in building a consensus on temporary peace
