It's often said that BYU is a special place. As a former player there, Zubin Mehenti asked me why... #GoCougs #NDvsBYU #BYUvsND @BYUfootball

Notice that Nephi didn't talk of Christ so his children would never sin. He talked of Christ so that when they did sin, they'd know where to turn. Be gentle with your kids' sins and mistakes. Your response shows them what kind of Savior is waiting.

A central theme of the Sunday morning session of the 196th Semiannual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was about turning to Jesus Christ for peace and comfort amidst our trials and shortcomings. “We all have present or future concerns or struggles we are trying to overcome,” said President Dallin H. Oaks (@OaksDallinH) during his closing remarks. “These may include questions or doubts. Whatever they are, the way to overcome them is to get closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.” He continued, “Again and again, He has taught us that He is the way. Focus on developing your faith in God and the mission of His Son, Jesus Christ. Strong faith requires more than strong desire. It means daily trying, one step at a time, with prayer and scriptural learning.” The session also featured inspiring messages by President Henry B. Eyring (@EyringHB), First Counselor in the First Presidency, and Elders Quentin L. Cook (@CookQuentinL) and Neil L. Andersen (@AndersenNeilL) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, among others.
