It seems that @Channel4 currently has the complete series of the outstanding #WW2 documentary "The World at War" available to watch through its on demand service.
*Highly* recommended (in case anyone was vaguely unaware). channel4.com/programmes/the-…

Today was a day my husband will never forget. For his 60th birthday, I arranged for him to fly a Spitfire at Biggin Hill.
He was extremely giddy.
I went up in a chase plane and was amazed at how close together we flew.
It was an incredible experience that I highly recommend
Hi James. Just wondering how the new museum is looking for the upcoming launch. My dad's interested in visiting as a veteran marine, he's a bit rickety at 84 , how close can I drop him off as it's not quite as easy as eastney bks.Cheers, Russ

Hi James, do you know if it's still possible to go into scampton to look at any remnants of the dambuster raid? I know you were trying to save the government destruction of the history and heritage hangar a while ago. I can't really find out any accurate information.R
@James1940
Good morning busy Peter, I just wondered if you received the email of George Malivoire and Guernsey press interview?
I know that you have been away doing talks in country houses and writing so you probably have a massive backlog of work.

After listening to Richard Morris talk expansively on a dambuster panel at CVHF a few years ago I got his 617 related books . What revelations they were . Braddons book ( plus the naked island) are fabulous too.
