Sunday, October 18, 2026 Please🙏 share for: Friends of Campbell County Animal Control 185 Greendale Drive Rustburg, VA 24588 There's no better way to learn about a dog than from the foster💕 parent. Read what she said about Mary Ann🐾🐾: "I will probably never understand it. How in the world do some of the most perfect dogs end up in our shelter and NO ONE comes looking for them? Not long ago, this sweet girl came into the shelter as a stray. And no one has come looking for her. I brought her home to foster💕 yesterday. I'm not exaggerating when I say that she is as perfect as a puppy can be. Thus far, she has respected Molly🐾🐾 and Bobby's🐾🐾 space. She has played with toys independently and has not destroyed any of them. If you can "catch" her after playtime and rest time, she will gladly potty outside. I'm pretty sure she even went to the door once. Could have been a coincidence but I praised her and took her out... And she went. So we'll call it a win either way. 😉 She whined a little bit when I put her in her crate to sleep last night. But she was in our bedroom with Molly🐾🐾 and Bobby🐾🐾 and me and soon settled and slept through the night. She is loving. She is sensitive. She wants to please. She is very intelligent. And she's an absolute doll. She wants very much to play with Molly🐾🐾 and Bobby🐾🐾 but respects them, we they don’t. She would probably love to have a dog to play with in her forever❤️ home. But if not, she has shown that she is quite capable of entertaining herself as well as playing with me. If she sounds like you're kind of girl, get that no obligation application in so that a time can be set up for you to come and meet her. You will not be sorry. She is seriously special. Shelter name: Mary Ann🐾🐾. Around here, I called her Nikki🐾🐾. Anyone who has known me for a long time will understand how much I love her to have given her that name. 😉🙂😇" Friendsofcampbellcounty.org Always adopt, don’t shop for a dog.🐾🐾 Rescue, Dogs, Rock!🐾🐾 In addition, please have your pets, spayed or neutered! #adoptme #rescuedogsrock #adoptarescuedog #fosterarescuedog #fosteringsavesdogslives

Saturday, October 17, 2026 PLEASE🙏 share for: Heritage Humane Society 430 Waller Mill Road Williamsburg, VA 23185 (757) 221-0150 Meet Echo🐾🐾! If you’re looking for an easygoing companion who enjoys the simple things in life, Echo🐾🐾 might be your girl! 💜 Echo🐾🐾 is a 6-year-old spayed female who loves spending time with her people. She spends much of her day happily napping, but she’s always ready for a walk or a quick game of fetch when the opportunity comes along. 🎾 Her foster💕 family says Echo🐾🐾 is: 💜 Smart and eager to please 🐾 Knows sit, paw, and down 🏡 Housebroken 🌳 Great in a fenced-in yard and comes when called 🛏️ Crate-trained and sleeps peacefully through the night 👋 Calm and kind when greeting guests 🛋️ Happy relaxing on the couch or in her own bed And her morning routine is pretty adorable—Echo🐾🐾 wakes up with a down-dog stretch and lots of tail wags to say good morning! 🥰 Echo🐾🐾 is reactive to other dogs when she sees them on walks, so she'll need someone willing to continue working with her on this. The good news? She's responding well to training and is making progress! We also haven't seen Echo🐾🐾 around children, so a thoughtful introduction would be important. If you're looking for a loyal, laid-back companion who would love to spend her days by your side, come meet Echo🐾🐾 and see if she's your perfect match! For an added bonus, Echo's🐾🐾 adoption fee has been sponsored in full by Bucktrout of Williamsburg !! 💜🐶 HHS is open from 12 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., Tuesday – Sunday. If you have questions prior to your visit, please email or call us. 757-221-0150 ext.0 or [email protected]. Please note all adoptions are facilitated on a first-come, first-serve basis. #AdoptEcho #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #ShelterDog #AdoptableDog #ForeverHome #DogAdoption #HeritageHumaneSociety
