Eventually Georgia is going to have to stop trotting Sacovie White-Helton out there on punt returns these muffs have gotten to be a weekly thing. You gotta have more respect for possession of the football than that

Crazy we don’t never or barely used 6’7 Eyliss Williams for jump ball like that. We got freak of nature of TE and barely see 2 Targets a game beyond crazy to me
Several things about @GeorgiaFootball:
🏈 This defense is elite. They’re fast and violent.
🏈 We have lost the Bama version of Gunner. This isn’t the same QB.
🏈 Sacovie White Helton is either the most stubborn Dawg ever, or he’s the dumbest. Change Punt Returners.

We all know about how spoiled LSU gets with night games, but I think the most surprising part of this to me was the Georgia number.
How is the best team in the SEC getting 22% night games.. Georgia is on the same level as Arkansas and Mississippi State in this stat. That’s a problem.
Since the SEC’s new TV deal began in 2024, LSU has played 16 of its 19 home games at night (84%).
Georgia and Mississippi State? Just 4 of 18 (22%).
It gets even worse when you look strictly at SEC conference games.
LSU has hosted EIGHT at night. More than Ole Miss and Georgia COMBINED.
Mississippi State has hosted ONE.
Night games matter for recruiting, atmosphere, attendance and home-field advantage.
How does the SEC justify this kind of disparity? And how is it fair to the fans spending thousands on season tickets?
This is pretty interesting data for those who claim @GregSankey walks over @UGAAthletics team and fans - especially when you look at home & away night game metrics.

I wanted nothing more than for Auburn to come out today & show that last week wasn't a fluke.
But man, the Dawgs really beat the Dawgs.
Oof...

I keep hearing "Georgia beat Georgia."
No.
Auburn ran the ball. Auburn stopped the run. Auburn won the battle in the trenches.
Yes, Georgia had costly turnovers. But Auburn dropped a sure-fire TD in the first quarter and lost the penalty battle 11-4.

You gotta feel bad for IU football fans most of them have never experienced a loss during their 1 season as fans

Since the start of CFP expansion talks there has been a significant sized group of coaches who openly lobbied for CFP expansion as a way to create a looser definition of success.
I watched Mark Richt get fired after a 9-3 season. I bet wee see an interim coach a CFP game soon.

Georgia vs. Alabama - Simple questions - Answer them.
1) Which QB played better?
Stockton (18-22, 81.8%, 249, 1, 1)
Russell (16-30, 53.3%, 185, 1, 0)
2) Which running game was better?
UGA - 206 (Phillips - 120)
Bama - 161 (Brown - 90)
3) Which OL played better?
Sacks allowed:
UGA - 1
Bama - 4
4) Which defense played better?
UGA - 4 sacks - allowed 346 yards
Bama - 1 sack - allowed 455 yards
My answers:
1) Stockton - he was tremendous
2) UGA - The FOURTH string UGA RB shined and was great
3) OL - sacks allowed aside, go look at some of the holes opened for the running backs
4) Defense - UGA - they didn't let Russell kill them - they contained the run game - they had a pass rush.

One thing folks aren’t talking about enough with the 24-team playoff is the amount of rematch opportunities.
We are already seeing this in the 12-team & 24-team makes it worse.
In the hypothetical field below, Alabama could end up with 4 CFP games vs teams they’ve already played in 2026.
Georgia & Ohio State could have 3 CFP games that are regular season rematches.
An occasional postseason rematch can be iconic… but having the potential for 8-10 of the 23 CFP games be regular season rematches seems very short-sighted.

This will be Kirby Smart's 36th game coaching at UGA as the AP #1 team.. That puts him 4th behind Nick Saban, Bobby Bowden and Woody Hayes all time.. Not bad company to be in @ugasportscom
