@united yesterday upon boarding our flight from Houston to Quito’s, after delays for maintenance, and upon FINALLY getting seated on the plane, we were told our flight was CANCELED! United REFUSED to put us in a hotel room!

I am leading a high school group trip and NO ONE is able to retrieve their bags. We are STRANDED in Texas! Students are missing out on their $5000 (PER PERSON) trip! @united this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Excited to be at #CONNECTED22 and learning with other Navigate Administrators. The view is pretty great, too!

You cannot have a good student experience without a good employee experience. Higher Ed needs to care about their employees' wellbeing as much as their students'.

"Speech Intelligibility" is how well you can hear in a space. Many classrooms have a lower than 75% rating — meaning, students can't hear 25% of the words being taught. How can you learn if you can't even hear? #pblchat #edchat #stem #education

I would like to propose a new leadership principle: leaders have a sense of humor and never take the world too seriously, precisely because the world is quite serious.

If lots of students fail your college course, the most obvious explanation is that you are neither a good nor an effective teacher. #HigherEd #AcademicRigor Yes, of course this is a sub-tweet, WTH – at Brighton, NY

Motivational chocolates at the department meeting today. One great thing about in person meetings.

Last Week: almost no meetings (first week of classes) This Week: too many meetings Somewhere there has to be a better balance between working together and actually completing projects…

When groups meet to brainstorm, good ideas are lost. People bite their tongues due to conformity pressure, noise, and ego threat. A better approach is brainwriting: generate ideas separately, then meet to assess and refine. Group wisdom begins with individual creativity.
