I’m sorry to all my Filipino friends but the Philippines is 95% not physically apart of the Pokémon Winds and Waves region. That doesn’t mean that there won’t necessarily be Philippine inspired Pokémon/lore/themes. But do you really want your nation to get the Portugal treatment of Paldea? I think it’s a good thing if GameFreak leaves it out because that means they could be saving it for a future region or for the DLC of this game. You could say most of the areas in the trailer could be in Philippines but also the same type of locations are in Indonesia. This stunning shot⬇️is typically what tourists think of when they think of Bali. And below I’ve attached more clear hints to the region being primarily Indonesia(& the Malay Archipelago).
