"This is a story about dirt"
This has been probably the hardest thing I've needed to write this year. It's about my exhibition; but really, it's abut the mana of whaiarorua, it's about the anti-psychiatry movement, and it's about 'resilience'.

Hi writer twitter, reckons on Scrivener?
I want to colour / code different pieces within the wider context of a project, so i can see all the 'green' etc bits all together in order of their appearance... while also having them in the context of the whole... is this the best app?
Stoked to see The Artist on the Longlist! Also wanted to say that two poetry books that were super meaningful to me personally in the last year were Past Lives by @leahjdodd and Bird Speak by Arihia Latham. Writing whanau manuscripts is fuckin hard and youse both smashed it.
We are all so happy to see four of our fabulous poets on the Mary and Peter Biggs Award Longlist. Congratulations @billmnelson @RubySolly @CravenJaney and Tusiata Avia!!
Tautoko e Kera!

I didn’t want to include the post but if people feel so inclined to report comments you can find it on @1NewsNZ . But damn, please recognise that this is what wāhine Māori are dealing with right now. This govt and their core audience literally do not care about our safety.
