A new day, but the strength of feeling remains following the cruel felling of the #SycamoreGap tree. I hope we're all still ticked off about this?
If you need somewhere to channel your feelings, sign our petition below.
Let's create a legacy from this heartbreaking moment.

Britain's ancient and special trees have negligible public protection or rights. Please sign this petition if you feel that should change.
It takes centuries to grow a tree, and only moments for someone to fell it.

Last week was a big #PR week for me - landing 500+ pieces of coverage from two articles, and a clean sweep across national print/online and broadcast media🎉
Just don't mention "pumpkins" around me for the next 11 months ..at least😂🎃

Most of the UK's oldest trees have no legal protection.
The @WoodlandTrust's petition is urging governments to change that. Help us protect these #LivingLegends & visit woodlandtrust.org.uk to sign. 🌳

Danny was the first person I reached out to for support with the #Bigclimatefightback when I joined the Trust in 2019 and he has continued to champion our cause ever since.
Absolutely delighted to have you as an Ambassador @theblkgardener - still lots more to do! 🌳

Yesterday, our episode of @YouTube original series #SeatAtTheTable launched, discussing the need for balance between natural regeneration and tree planting in the fight against climate change.
It was a privilege to work on and it's well worth a watch.

This series is so insightful and important. Well worth a watch if you haven't already. #SeatAtTheTable
Premature death. Cancer. Dementia. All are consequences of toxic air pollution that Londoners breathe. I spoke to @JackHarries in the latest episode of #SeatAtTheTable about expanding the ULEZ to let Londoners breathe easier. youtube.com/watch?v=8rnqfvFJ…
#SeatAtTheTable gives a voice to those who are being hit the hardest by the effects of #climatechange.
@JackHarries & the team at Silverback Films have done an incredible job and I'm proud to have seen even a small part of this come to life.
There is no better time than now.
The official trailer for my new show SEAT AT THE TABLE is now live!!! Launching on youtube on the 25th of October. youtube.com/watch?v=fbB1gycu… #SeatAtTheTable
My stepdad, mum, two brothers and sister have put a huge amount of effort into building the #BodminJail60DegreesEast garden at #rhschelseaflowershow this year.
