SirActionSlacks 🇺🇸 fears Trove of Terror’s success could give Valve less reason to make actual events He praised the cosmetics but questioned releasing a major Arcana without a story event, lore, comic or even a dedicated page: "They look incredible. They are incredible. But it wasn’t supposed to be like this." "I’m worried because this chest is super good, and they’re going to make a lot of money off it. Probably more than Crownfall. So the question will naturally arise for Valve: ‘Why should we do anything else?’" Slacks compared it to TF2’s shift from cosmetics accompanying events to cosmetics becoming the main content, warning against simply selling more items to existing players instead of growing the game. He acknowledged that the treasure might tease something bigger, but urged fans to give constructive feedback: "Please, let your thoughts be heard in productive ways, or the Trove of Terror may truly be the end of it all."
