Corn leaf aphids are out there, they might look alarming but if your corn is through pollination then no need to worry. The critical time for them is during late whorl, early tassel. Likely we are seeing more of them due to drought. And of course there are several natural enemies of aphids that can help reduce numbers. IF they seem to be exploding in population and/or honeydew is extensive please reach out and we’ll take a look!
