Best ER nurse I had was male, broke my neck in a car wreck. He had the most beautiful eyes. I was partially paralyzed and couldn't communicate properly. Tears ran down my face and he wiped them away and said "Just keep looking at me, I'll walk you through everything we're going to be doing, don't be afraid, I'll stay with you. " He did....30 years later and I can still picture his eyes. He visited me for a few after surgery, which is probably rare. Many amazing nurses those months but he was special. ❤️
