We need to challenge the right-wing political trope that people become wealthy because they work harder than others and others are poor because they are lazy. Some of the hardest working people I know are in poorly paid work, often in more than one job, while raising a family.

1. Most people in UK know Israel is committing unspeakable war crimes 2. Most people in UK know that these crimes are not the fault of Jews in the UK 3. When Jewish “leaders” deny or justify the crimes of Israel THAT does not help UK Jews whatsoever 4. When UK Jews condemn Israel’s crimes, that does help UK Jews

Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg on @SkyNews speaking out against the rampant settler violence he has personally witnessed. He represents another voice in the Jewish community stressing the necessity of the UK government taking action on Israeli settlements.

Progressive stuff. Israelis praise @Ed_Miliband over Britain's Israeli Settler Terrorism in Palestine sanctions.

May be missing something. But Reform’s position on small boats seems to have suddenly pivoted to a recognition that migrants can only be returned to France with the consent and support of the French government. Which is fundamentally different to the policy announced last month.

@PressSec Karoline Leavitt has been celebrating her imminent departure from her White House role, so we figured we'd do the same via a parody of an iconic farewell ABBA tune - full lyrics at: youtu.be/o9l1xArp2RM ... it's called "Thank You for the Bullsh!t" 🎶

The total bullshit continues........... - remember Ann Widdecombe was murdered - remember the Police are meant to be reinvestigating an incident at one of Farage's 5 homes - now Reform claim a 'threat' BUT they will not pass it on to the Police?????????????? Richard Tice MP said Reform UK had not shared information with the Police (Image: Getty) Reform UK did not share information of a security threat against Nigel Farage as senior party members say they do not trust the police. Richard Tice, one of the party's most senior figures, told the media this morning that evidence of what the party said was a "credible" threat against their leader was not handed to the authorities.

So… A man with a bin on his head is ‘the establishment’? And a man who has pocketed £millions in bungs from some of the world’s richest people to help him reach high office in the hope he can protect their interests, is somehow ‘fighting the establishment’! Only in Reformland!!

Renewed focus on small boat arrivals. This is the Migration Watch "Channel Crossing Tracker", up to 29 July. It shows that despite this week's spike, they're still running below the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 totals. That can't just be weather related surely.

Reform's position on social care: a) We don't know what the proposals are b) We are angry we haven't been invited to discussions on the proposals c) Whatever the proposals are we will fight them anyway
I’m not surprised that Andy Burnham hasn’t invited Nigel Farage. If he had, Nigel would have told him he’d fight this tax rise all the way. That Ed Davey and Kemi Badenoch are going along with this tells you all you need to know about their parties. Andy Burnham has no mandate to tax the life savings of hundreds of thousands of families. So instead of having the decency to ask the public if they’ve changed their mind about a policy they’ve rejected four times, he’s conspiring behind closed doors with the failed political establishment to foist it on the country. If we need to, Reform will stand alone to fight this cruel tax. Nigel and I will not see millions of families betrayed like this.

No, we do not. We expect a Prime Minister to be intelligent, capable, well-informed, and equipped with sound policies. We expect them to represent the country with dignity and take the responsibilities of office seriously. That does not mean they must wear a suit and tie at all times. Looking smart matters on formal occasions, but leadership is measured by judgment, competence and conduct, not whether someone is permanently dressed for a board meeting.
How patronising and disrespectful. British people expect their Prime Minister to look smart in jacket and tie.
