We cleaned up and reformatted our store front page so that the album covers are all big and bright and colorful. What do you think? Is it too cumbersome to scroll through? rubwrongways.com/store

We're releasing a new collection of songs today over on #BandcampFriday . We decided that @gentle_hen was due for an Odds and Sods, Miscellaneous T, Dead Letter Office, Rag and Bone Buffet type collection of misfits. gentlehen.bandcamp.com/album…

"All the songs have the essential characteristics of Gentle Hen’s music: jangly guitars, sunny pop harmonies and a certain offhanded, day-in-the-life vibe." - Freak Scene #43, by Eric Danton (Boston Globe, Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, Paste more)

We know it's been rough, you haven't been sleeping, you've been staring dry-eyed at the computer screen pressing refresh over and over again and we apologize. Great news, though! Our website is back up and running:

We just noticed that our first full length album The New You came out 20 years ago! That's back when we were called School for the Dead. These songs are like good old friends.

Milestone achieved! We just sold enough CD copies of The Whole Point of the Trip by @gentle_hen to cover the cost of making it. It took five months, not bad considering the current popularity of compact discs. Thanks everyone! All future sales now will go towards the next album.
I just walked to the post office to mail off the pre-orders of our CD The Whole Point of the Trip (by @gentle_hen)! They finally arrived at our headquarters yesterday. It's nice to have some physical representation of the album! gentlehen.bandcamp.com/album…
