The first #PrideInLondon was held in 1972, led by members of the Gay Liberation Front.
The GLF even then had a 40 strong โTransvestite, Transexual, Drag Queenโ group of activists, fighting for recognition and respect.
Gay Pride has always included trans people.

I got kicked out the queue for GAY late coz I said I was non-binary.
Landed on time 25 mins ago. Stuck on the plane because Heathrow forgot to send crew to the gate to attach the skybridge. Lol.

If we had more people like Ken Clarke, even Michael Heseltine, a party of Rorys & Pennys who might have conservative politics but believe in a just society then maybe, maybe, there would be hope.
