Hoffenheim’s high press and runs behind Gladbach’s wingbacks should create chances, while beating that press gives Gladbach space to attack the other way. Molde average 2.18 goals at home, while Start concede 2.64 away, which gives us a solid starting point for two Molde goals. I’m backing Molde’s overlapping fullbacks and Breivik’s movement to stretch Start’s expected back three, opening up crossing lanes and cutbacks inside the box. 2️⃣ Vålerenga vs Brann over 2.5 Goals + AZ Alkmaar over 1.5 Team Goals @ 2.05 | +105: Valerenga’s home games average 3.55 total goals, while Brann’s away games average 3.50, with this over landing in 7/11 and 7/10 respectively. With Vålerenga expected to use two forwards and Brann offering width through their front three, I see both defenses getting stretched and space opening up when possession changes hands. AZ have scored at least 2 in three of four away league games, while Cambuur have conceded 13 goals in four home matches. With Cambuur missing centreback Amofa, I like Clasie and Stengs finding passes between the lines and feeding Meerdink before that defense can get settled. 3️⃣ FC Groningen vs Ajax over 2.5 Goals + NEC Nijmegen vs Fortuna Sittard BTTS @ 2.25 | +125: Groningen’s four home league games have all produced 3 or more goals, and Ajax have cleared this line in six of eight league matches. I expect Ajax’s wide attacks and midfield runners to create pressure, while Groningen can attack the space left behind when Ajax push numbers forward. BTTS has landed in all four NEC home games and three of Fortuna’s four away games, so both sides have been contributing in these settings. Chery’s passing between the lines gives NEC a route to goal, while Ihattaren can feed Fortuna’s forwards against a defense missing Nuytinck and Sandler.
