Trip of the Year. Lucky to make it to Fort Myers for @Twins Spring Training week before it all closed with my father who adored the @Twins and had never been. He was so happy to be there. He passed 10 weeks later. So lucky to have had that time together.

TV of the year. Normally don’t consume a ton of TV. Well in 2020... @themandalorian revived my love for Star Wars. @jackryanamazon was solid but @TedLasso was the type of show we needed in 2020. Absolutely perfect

The #1 #pandemic food item by far. @topthetater I had actually never had it pre pandemic! How that is possible I don’t know. I even made their cheesy casserole for thanksgiving! It hits hard. The @olddutch chips dipped in the @topthetater all time classic

Food items I dominated in 2020. @KerrygoldUSA @CAoliveranch in copious amounts, at least 4 bottles of @CrybabyCraig and boxes and boxes of @olddutch chips. Spicy Dill became my happy hour snack of choice

Delivery item of the year! @goldbelly @TheRedPepper was epic in a desperate time, @momofuku seasoned salts, but the @LaColombeCoffee draft latte by the case is what I needed to survive! (Also @Target)

Kitchen MVP of 2020. @lecreuset Dutch oven, @ChefsChoice_ Trizor XV, but really used and loved my @madeincookware Wok

Beers that are always in my fridge for 2020. Happy hour typically started 4:30-5:00. @ModistBrewing False Pattern, @FairStateCoop Mirror Universe, but my #1 quarantine beer is @TGBrews Pseudo Sue! Now I can find it in 12 ounce cans!

Coffee bean company of then year. @bluebottleroast and have had a ton of great beans from @tradecoffeeco including @Vervecoffee @templecoffee but my favorite was @IrvingFarm

Best Take Out Process of 2020. Nominees @eatwsk1 @Lake_Irving @holaarepa but the process and speed at World Street Kitchen amazing @eatwsk1

Restaurant of the Decade. @eatwsk1 Quang, Swan Oyster Depot, 112 Eatery. Very lucky to have had a great decade of eating. Quang. A family run, melting pot institution

Meal of the Decade. @FranklinBbq my first trip in 2012, Five Hundred in Johannesburg in 2014, @EventideOyster in 2013 Portland, ME, New World Bistro in Albany, NY in 2012. @FranklinBbq wins it. Life changing

Meal of the year. Le Saint Sébastien Paris, Kato in LA, Safta Denver, & 112 Eatery MPLS, Got lucky w Kato and was a rare meal where the service, food, and everything was great. #1 on @latimesfood @BillAddison

Coffee shop of the year. Ghost Town Telluride (went 3 days in a row), @fivewattcoffee new 34th/Lyndale location, & Parallel Mpls. @fivewattcoffee being closer again wins.

Beer of the Decade. @OdellBrewing Drum Roll (my house beer), @summitbeer EPA, @surlybrewing Furious. It’s an easy choice for Summit. 10 years. We owe Mark and Team for what they have done. They provided good beer in bad places.
