Race and religion are two entirely different things. Religion may have some origins in racial expression but it is distinct from racial identity. Christians are not a race. Muslims are not a race. Pagans are not a race. There are some religiously aligned forces that are political forces, like Islamism or Zionism, but these are not inherently racial forces. The concept of 'ethnicity' has muddied the distinction between religion and race in a damaging way, because it leads people to conflate racial identity with religious belief - the most common example being the way that Muslims are often talked about as though they are a race. This confusion is a hindrance to the resolving of all race related issues because it confuses innate biology (racial heritage) with belief systems which can be adopted (religious identity). This is why any racially conscious National Agenda must be explicitly separate from all religious doctrine. Neither against religion nor beholden to it. As soon as it aligns with religion, it immediately becomes a values-based programme (which opens it up to internationalism) and not a National one. This is the reasoning behind Demand #10 of the National Agenda of the @Natrebirthparty: "We demand freedom of religion for all British people, so long as the religion does not threaten or harm the collective interests of the National Community.
